GREENET, Fast forwarding the green transition in just and socially responsible way – cases of industry, energy and transport sectors

The GREENET project consists of supporting a socially responsible green transition in key sectors: industry, energy, and transport, to meet the EU’s 2030 climate target of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 55% from 1990 levels. Partnering with trade unions and employer organizations across Europe, GREENET promotes green social dialogue, ensuring that the shift to carbon neutrality is fair and affordable. It includes transnational research, training, and consultations in 10 countries, aiming to enhance collaboration and create guidelines that help workers and employers adapt to EU climate goals and REPowerEU initiatives.

Mind the GAP! Joint actions of workers’ organizations for bridging the gender pay gap

The project aims to strengthen workers’ organizations to address gender equality issues, particularly the gender pay gap (GPG), anti-discrimination, work-life balance, and the socioeconomic impacts of COVID-19 and the war in Ukraine. Key objectives include enhancing cooperation among participating countries in monitoring the EU’s Pay Transparency Directive, improving collective bargaining skills through training, and increasing workers’ influence on EU policies. Partners from diverse European countries will collaborate to develop recommendations for reducing the gender pay gap, exchanging best practices and strategies tailored to varying national contexts.
